Attention Livestock Sale Supporter

The 2021 Talbot County 4-H/FFA Livestock Auction will be an online auction.
The auction provides an opportunity for 4-Hers who participate in the livestock learning program to sell their animals to recover the expenses they incurred with their animal.
The 4-Hers who will be selling animals are Henry Callahan, Hayden Hutchison, Abbi Hutchison. All the 4-Hers are members of the Chapel District 4-H Club.
The online livestock auction will begin on Tuesday, July 6th at noon and end on Friday, July 9th, at 3:30pm. To place your bid, you will visit the A. Curtis Andrew Auction, Inc. website at You will choose the “Fair Ad Option” where you can place your bid from the web page. To register, a credit card will be required to validate yourself. There will be no fee for registering to bid, and the credit card will not be charged. The animals will be sold on an individual basis by the head. There are six market hogs available for sale. Each of the hogs has a starting bid of $50 and the reserve being $500. The website will contain a picture of the hog and other pertinent data, including the name of the 4-Her selling it.
Someone will be in contact with the results of the auction after it closes. At that time, instructions will be provided about where to send payment. If you desire to retain the hog and have it processed, the hogs will be hauled to either your choice of Sudlersville Meat Locker or Haass Family Butcher Shop. If you desire to donate the hog back, the Talbot County Youth Livestock Fund will arrange to have the hog sold.
