Christmas in Caroline Celebrates 20 Years on Dec. 5th and 6th

The 20th Annual “Christmas in Caroline” event will be held at the Caroline County 4-H Park, located on Detour Road, off Route 16 West, south of Denton on Saturday, December 5th from 9am to 4pm and on Sunday, Dec. 6th from 10am to 3pm. On this first weekend in December the 4-H Park is turned into a Christmas wonderland. The Main Activities Building will feature craft, collectible and gift merchandise vendors. A large array of products will be available including handcrafted wood items, home décor items, jewelry, handmade and specialty gift items and even delicious goodies to be used for those special Christmas parties. As visitors enter the building both adults and children will receive a door prize ticket. On both days door prizes are given out every half hour.
Due to COVID restrictions, the Williams Building will not be open this year; we will not have photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus and there will be no Make-It Take-It craft area due to 4-H still being closed.
A Silent Auction will be set up each day in the area where the Make-It Take-It Crafts were located. Many wonderful items have already been donated for the auction.
The Candy Cane Game will be set up just outside the Silent Auction Room along with the “Winter Wonderland Wheel Game” offering such items as snowmen, Santa novelty items, yummy cakes and many special holiday items. Proceeds from the Winter Wonderland Wheel Game will go to the “Joanne Wooters Fair Scholarship Fund”.
This year our fresh arrangements, bunches of fresh greens, door swag, grave blankets and cones as well as a variety of wreaths created by volunteer friends of 4-H will be sold at the entrance of the Main Building
Holiday music will be provided by Jay Davis of A+ DJ’s and most likely everyone’s favorite Christmas song will be played. It is very possible that Santa may make a visit.
The kitchen will be open for carryout only this year, serving breakfast and lunch both days. There will be no sit down eat in area. On the menu are a variety of breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken salad sandwiches, homemade chili and soup, taco salad, and baked potatoes along with a variety of desserts and beverages.
COVID Restrictions will be in place.
COVID -19 GUIDELINES: Face Masks must be worn while in the building by everyone (Vendors, Patrons and Staff) and Social Distancing must be practiced.
Temperatures will be checked upon entering the building. There will be one entrance door and a separate exit door. Please follow all signage. Traffic aisles have been widened.
