Kids Movies Return to the Oxford Community Center

The Oxford Community Center welcomes kids of all ages to watch family friendly movies on Wednesday nights this summer. The Center is a bustle with kids due to the wildly popular Oxford Kids Camp. The OKC July 8 – 26, 2019.

The film series continues Wednesday, July 10th with Smallfoot starring Channing Tatum as the voice of Migo, the friendly Yeti whose world gets turned upside down when he discovers something that he didn’t know existed — a human. He faces banishment from his snowy home when the rest of the villagers refuse to believe his fantastic tale. Hoping to prove them wrong, Migo embarks on an epic journey to find the mysterious creature that can put him back in good graces with his simple community. Channing Tatum even sings in the film.

Wednesday, July 17th is Incredibles 2. The Incredibles hero family takes on a new mission, which involves a change in family roles: Bob Parr (Mr Incredible) must manage the house while his wife Helen (Elastigirl) goes out to save the world.

On July 24th the series wraps up with Ralph Breaks the Internet. Video game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope must risk it all by traveling to the World Wide Web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game. In over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet to help navigate their way.

All screenings are rated PG (parental guidance), begin at 6pm and are held indoors. There will be chairs and bottled water available. Bring snacks, blankets or folding chairs if you want to spread out and lounge. There is no charge for admittance.
